At all camp levels, the Pittsburgh Elite Officiating Camps strive to develop officials in ways that will allow each participant to achieve success at higher levels of hockey officiating. PEOC seeks to instruct basic, intermediate and advanced officiating skills and techniques necessary to establish a foundation towards that success.
The PEOC Elite Prospect Camp is designed for an advanced to elite level official – at any age – who is looking to improve their overall skill set while taking on the challenge of officiating a high level of hockey. Whether your personal goal is to advance to the next level or you desire to adopt officiating as a profession, the PEOC Prospect Exposure Camp will assist you in obtaining your personal officiating aspirations.
This camp are customized for those officials who are currently working, or desire to work, high levels of hockey (Tier I, Junior, ACHA/NCAA & above) with true aspirations to advance their officiating careers.
The Instruction Staff and guests at the PEOC Prospect Exposure Camp will be comprised of invited persons currently involved in the officiating departments and/or officiating administration offices of both collegiate & professional hockey leagues.
PEOC asks that prospective participants understand the purpose of this elite level camp and self-evaluate before making their PEOC camp selection.
During the PEOC Elite Prospect Camp, participants will participate in both on-ice and off-ice conditioning & physical testing modules.
The results of the on-ice and off-ice physical testing will be included in each participant's PEOC Individual Camp Report (ICR). The ICR will be sent directly to officiating administrators in junior, professional, and collegiate hockey leagues throughout the country.
The PEOC Elite Prospect Camp begins on Thursday afternoon and concludes Sunday afternoon.
