The Pittsburgh Elite Officiating Camps are proud to announce a new logo entering the 2017, and sixth annual, PEOC camp season - coming this summer.
This new look incorporates many standards from the past two logos used since PEOC was founded in 2012.
As standard, the primary colors of the logo are black, white, and orange to match the colors shown on an official's sweater. The new addition is the grey border, which symbolizes our home in the "Steel City" of Pittsburgh and gives a nod to its history.
Each PEOC logo since 2012 has incorporated triangles as a symbol of how each camp assists participants in moving forward, progressing, and advancing to the next level, while recognized Pittsburgh are the "Golden Triangle" - which is also prominent in the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins logo.
This logo is no different, and continues to emphasize the PEOC mission. Replacing the traditional single triangle are three sleek, modern triangles. Additionally, three triangles were used to represent the three rivers (Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio) that meet at our city's center and again highlight our home in Pittsburgh.
