ZACH ROBERTS
PEOC Executive Director
Zach Roberts (Pittsburgh, PA) returns as the Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Elite Officiating Camps for the seventh consecutive summer in 2018.
Zach currently officiates professional hockey in the American Hockey League and the ECHL. He has been selected to officiate the AHL Calder Cup Playoffs, nine consecutive ECHL Kelly Cup Playoff seasons, and the 2017 CCM ECHL All-Star Classic.
Zach also currently officiates NCAA Division I Men's hockey in the Big Ten. He has previously worked in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA), Atlantic Hockey, College Hockey America and the ECAC.
In addition to his collegiate and professional hockey officiating experience, Zach was also previously a member of USA Hockey's Officiating Development Program (ODP), working multiple USA Hockey Junior National Championships. During his time with the ODP, Zach was selected to USA Hockey's Regional and National Officiating Development Camps.
Zach is also a supervisor for USA Hockey's Officiating Development Program, supervising officials in leagues such as the NA3HL, NAHL, and USHL.
Additionally, Zach is a member of the USA Hockey Officiating Program Instruction Staff and has instructed and presented at numerous Mid-Am District seminars and Regional Development Camps. Zach is also the current Executive Director of Pennsylvania Ice Hockey Officiating (PIHO).

FRANK BASTONE

Frank Bastone (Pittsburgh, PA) returns to PEOC for the third consecutive season in 2018 serving as the Program Director. Frank was selected to attend the very first PEOC in 2012, and has been involved in every camp since, both as a participant and as an instructor.
Frank currently officiates in the USA Hockey’s Officiating Development Program (ODP) as a linesman. He also officiates collegiate hockey as a linesman and a referee in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference of the NCAA.
In 2013, Frank became a USA Hockey Seminar Instructor following his attendance at the Eastern Instructors Seminar in Lake Placid, NY. Frank earned the Milt Kaufman award which is given to the official who most exemplifies hard work and dedication to officiating. Frank is also the current Officiating Development Director for Pennsylvania Ice Hockey Officiating (PIHO).
FURMAN SOUTH

Furman South returns to the Pittsburgh Elite Officiating Camps for the third consecutive summer in 2018 as a PEOC Instructor.
Furman currently officiates professional hockey in the National Hockey League and American Hockey League. His previous officiating experience includes officiating in USA Hockey’s Officiating Development Program, where he worked games in leagues such as the USHL, NAHL and SPHL.
Furman was selected to officiate the 2015 National Hockey League Prospects Camp in Traverse City, MI. He was also selected to attend the National Hockey League Officiating Combine in Buffalo, NY the same year. Prior to his career in officiating, Furman played NCAA Division I hockey for Robert Morris University.
JIM DOYLE

Jim Doyle (Medford, NJ) is currently a Officiating Manager/Supervisor in the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL. Jim also supervises officials at the NCAA Division I Men's level for the Atlantic Hockey Association. Additionally, Jim is also a current Off-Ice Official with the National Hockey League (NHL).
Jim is also the current Referee-in-Chief of USA Hockey's Atlantic District.
Jim previously officiated professional hockey as a linesman in the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL. He also has previous international officiating experience, including working the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY.
RANDY DENGLER

Randy Dengler (Pittsburgh, PA) returns to the Pittsburgh Elite Officiating Camps for the third consecutive summer in 2018 as a camp instructor.
Randy currently officiates professional hockey in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). In the past seasons, he has worked full-time for the Officials Development Program in the United States Hockey League (USHL) and the North American Hockey League (NAHL). He has been chosen to officiate both the NAHL Robertson Cup and USHL Clark Cup playoffs.
In addition to Dengler’s junior and professional hockey officiating experience, Randy has also attended several officiating summer camps including USA Hockey’s ODP full-time camp, Eastern Regional Camp, and is also a former PEOC participant.
ZANE STOUT
PEOC Instructor
Zane Stout (Irwin, PA) returns to the Pittsburgh Elite Officiating Camps as an instructor for the third consecutive season in 2018.
Zane currently officiates minor professional hockey in the Southern Professional Hockey League, and junior hockey in the United States Hockey League for the USA Hockey Officiating Development Program.
Zane also currently officiates NCAA Division I and Division III hockey in multiple conferences.
Additionally, Zane has participated in multiple USA Hockey Tier I National Championships, He also was selected to attend USA Hockey’s Regional and National Development Camps. He is also an Officiating Manager for Pennsylvania Ice Hockey Officiating.
Lastly, Zane has been selected to officiate amateur hockey in Europe through Legacy Sports in the summer, officiating international world tournaments throughout the continent in Slovakia & Italy.
PAT JACOBS

Patrick Jacobs (Altoona, PA) returns for his third consecutive summer with the PEOC staff in 2018.
Patrick currently officiates in the NAHL with USA Hockey’s Officiating Development Program. He has officiating in the ODP full-time for numerous seasons. He has been selected to work the 2017 NA3HL Silver cup, the 2016 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament, and multiple NA3HL playoffs.
Additionally, Patrick has been selected to work multiple Tier I USA Hockey National Championships, including the 2017 U-16 Tier I National Championship Game.
JIM WEAVER

Jim Weaver (Pittsburgh, PA) is currently the USA Hockey Mid-American District Referee-in-Chief. He is also currently a USA Hockey Officiating Program Supervisor and member of the USA Hockey Seminar Instruction Staff.
Jim has also been an off-ice official with the National Hockey League (NHL) since 1994.
GARRETT GAYDOSH

Garrett Gaydosh (Pittsburgh, PA) is a current member of the USA Hockey Officiating Development Program (ODP) and officiates in the North American Hockey League. He has previously been on the Officiating Staff rosters of the United States Hockey League and Southern Professional Hockey League.
Garrett also currently officiates NCAA Hockey in College Hockey America, the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference, and Atlantic Hockey. He has also been selected to attend USA Hockey Regional Camp and National Camp.
Garrett is also a member of the USA Hockey Seminar Instruction Staff and is a USA Hockey Officiating Supervisor.
KEITH KAVAL

Keith Kaval (Erie, PA) currently officiates professional hockey in the American Hockey League (AHL). He has previous professional hockey officiating experience in the ECHL, CHL and UHL.
He also currently officiates major-junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and NCAA Division I Men's hockey in Hockey East.
Keith also is a current member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) officiating staff and has worked in several international tournaments.
Additionally, Keith is a member of the USA Hockey Officiating Program Instruction Staff and has instructed at many District seminars, Regional Camps and National Camps.
SCOTT ZELKIN

USA Hockey Officiating Development Program
Scott Zelkin (Chicago, IL) is the current manager of USA Hockey’s junior officiating development program, Scott Zelkin guides all aspects of the USA Hockey Officiating Development Program, including assignment and evaluation - as well as recruitment and retention.
Zelkin has an extensive on-ice officiating background. After three seasons as a referee in the USHL, Scott went on to an officiating career in higher levels of hockey, culminating as a referee in the NHL. In addition to working in the NHL, he has over 1,000 games to his credit in the AHL and IHL, as well as having officiated in multiple IIHF World Championships and the NCAA Frozen Four.

USA Hockey Officiating Development Program
Scott is currently a supervisor of officials with the USA Hockey Officiating Development Program which includes supervising the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and various Tier III Junior Hockey Leagues on the east coast.
Scott's on-ice officiating experience includes multiple minor professional hockey leagues, including the American Hockey League (AHL) and the ECHL.

USA Hockey Officiating Development Program
Chris Allman (St. Paul, MN) is the Officiating Coordinator for the NAHL and NA3HL. Allman's main responsibilities include supervising, evaluating and coordinating all the officials within the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and NA3HL.
His responsibilities include educating and developing on-ice officials through evaluations and observation. Allman has a wide array of experience on the ice as an official where for the past 10 years he has worked professionally in the AHL, ECHL, CHL and SPHL as a referee or linesman. He also has on-ice experience at both the NAHL and USHL levels
Jason Mirich (Pittsburgh, PA) formerly officiated NCAA Division I Men's hockey in College Hockey America (CHA) and Division III hockey in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC). Jason was also selected to numerous USA Hockey Mid-American District Tournaments, State Playoffs, and Tier I National Tournaments.
Jason is currently the Scheduling Director for Pennsylvania Ice Hockey Officiating (PIHO). He has been scheduling on-ice officials for High School, College, and Tier I and Tier II Amateur hockey associations in the Western Pennsylvania Area for over seven years.
MICHAEL TREGO

Mike Trego (Butler, PA) returns as a member of the PEOC Support Staff for the thirs consecutive season in 2018.
Mike currently officiates high school, ACHA college and Tier I amateur hockey throughout the Mid-American District. Mike also currently serves as an Officiating Development Coach for Pennsylvania Hockey Officiating (PIHO) to evaluate and mentor younger and less experienced officials develop and succeed.
Mike has been an official for more than 30 years and worked at all levels, including selections to USA Hockey State, District and National tournaments. Mike is also a current member of the USA Hockey Officiating Program Instruction Staff and has presented at numerous seminars. He has also attended USA Instructor's Camp in Lake Placid, N.Y.
